Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Marple Newtown nudges Lower Merion
September 3, 2024: Ardmore, PA 19003 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers (Newtown Square, PA) and the host Lower Merion Aces (Ardmore, PA), saw Marple Newtown's soccer squad hold off Lower Merion by a count of 1-0.
The Fightin' Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Garnet Valley (Glen Mills, PA). The Jaguars enter the Central battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Garnet Valley tipped Ridley (Folsom, PA), 1-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Aces battle the Harriton Rams (Rosemont, PA) in a Central battle, on Thursday, September 5. Lower Merion will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Rams enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 2-1 league loss to Radnor (Radnor, PA).
