Michigan High School Soccer - University Liggett knocks off Lutheran Northwest
September 3, 2024: Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236 The University Liggett Knights soccer squad scored 7 points and held the visiting Lutheran Northwest Crusaders to 0 in the Knights league victory on Tuesday.
The Knights now hold a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Cabrini for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 5. University Liggett will play a Monarchs squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Detroit Cristo Rey (Detroit, MI). The Monarchs record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Lutheran Northwest moves to 1-4 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Roeper (Birmingham, MI) to play the Roughriders in a Michigan Independent - Blue bout on Thursday, September 5. The Roughriders go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Roeper won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Plymouth Christian Academy (Canton, MI)
