Georgia High School Softball - Eastside bounces Flowery Branch
September 3, 2024: Covington, GA 30014 The Eastside Eagles softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Flowery Branch Falcons to 0 in the Eagles league win on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Oconee for a 4A Region 8 battle on Thursday, September 5. Eastside will encounter a Titans team coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA). The Titans record now stands at 10-3.
With the loss, Flowery Branch moves to 2-8 on the season. The Falcons travel to Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA) to encounter the Warriors in a 4A Region 8 battle on Thursday, September 5. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 4-10. Walnut Grove lost 8-4 in their recent non-league battle against Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA)
