September 3, 2024: Springfield, GA 31329 The Effingham County Rebels (Springfield, GA) softball routed the visiting Statesboro Blue Devils (Statesboro, GA), 8-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Rebels now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richmond Hill for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 5. Effingham County will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Colquitt County (Norman Park, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-8.
With the loss, Statesboro moves to 5-5 on the season. The Blue devils host Screven County (Sylvania, GA) to encounter the Gamecocks in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 4.
