September 3, 2024: Perry, GA 31069 The Lanier County Bulldogs triumphed over the host Westfield School Hornets softball squad by a count of 8-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs play the Echols County Wildcats (Statenville, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 2 challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Lanier County will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record.
The Hornets (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilcox County (Rochelle, GA). The Patriots enter the non-league challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Wilcox County edged Treutlen (Soperton, GA), 9-5, in a league challenge.
