The Northwest Rankin Cougars volleyball squad (Brandon, MS), dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Brandon Bulldogs (Brandon, MS)

With the win, Brandon improves its record to 19-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Petal (Petal, MS) to encounter the Panthers in a Class 7A Region 3 battle on Thursday, September 5. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 2-11. Petal lost 3-2 in their recent league battle against Pearl (Pearl, MS)

The Cougars now own a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Meridian for a Class 7A Region 3 battle on Thursday, September 5. Northwest Rankin will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Oak Grove (Hattiesburg, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-6.
