September 3, 2024: Lake Forest, IL 60045 Lake Forest Academy Caxys (Lake Forest, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Westlake Christian Academy Eagles (Grayslake, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lake Forest Academy improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Caxys travel to Rochelle Zell Jewish (Deerfield, IL) to face the Tigers in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 4. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Eagles now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harvest Christian Academy for a Northeastern test on Thursday, September 5. Westlake Christian Academy will face a Lions squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Marian Central Catholic (Woodstock, IL). The Lions record now stands at 4-2.
