The Preston Knights volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Lincoln Cougars to 0 in the Knights league triumph on Tuesday.

The Knights now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to University for a Two Rivers outing on Wednesday, September 4. Preston will play a Hawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV). The Hawks record now stands at 10-1.

With the loss, Lincoln drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV) to face the Polar Bears in a Big Ten test on Tuesday, September 3.
