In Tuesday's league challenge, the host McDonald Blue Devils volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Western Reserve Blue Devils.

The Blue Devils (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Waterloo (Atwater, OH). The Vikings come into the Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Waterloo was beaten by Mineral Ridge (Mineral Ridge, OH), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Blue Devils meet the Lowellville Rockets (Lowellville, OH) in a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Western Reserve will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Memorial (Campbell, OH).
