In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Rising Sun Shiners volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Morristown Yellow Jackets.

With the win, Rising Sun improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Shiners travel to South Ripley (Versailles, IN) to encounter the Raiders in a Ohio River Valley battle on Thursday, September 5. The Raiders go into the battle with a record of 7-3. South Ripley lost 3-1 in their recent non-league battle against Scottsburg (Scottsburg, IN)

The Yellow Jackets now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oldenburg Academy for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 5.
