September 3, 2025: Apex, NC 27539 The Middle Creek Mustangs topped the visiting Wakefield Wolverines volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
The Mustangs now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Fuquay - Varina for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 4. Middle Creek will play a Bengals team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Bengals record now stands at 5-2.
With the loss, Wakefield drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Broughton (Raleigh, NC) to play the Capitals in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 4. The Capitals come into the outing with a record of 2-4.
