In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Doherty Spartans flag football squad scored a close 12-7 victory over the Dakota Ridge Eagles.

The Spartans (2-3) will now prepare for their match against The Vanguard School (Colorado Springs, CO). The Coursers enter the 5A/4A Southern Colorado match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, The Vanguard School was nudged by Coronado (Colorado Springs, CO), 18-6, in a league match.
