California High School Flag Football - Hilltop thwarted by Otay Ranch
September 3, 2025: Chula Vista, CA 91910 Otay Ranch Mustangs (Chula Vista, CA) followers went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the host Hilltop Lancers (Chula Vista, CA), 31-12 in a non-league match.
The Mustangs (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Helix (La Mesa, CA). The Highlanders come into the non-league match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Helix defeated El Capitan (Lakeside, CA), 20-13, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Lancers confront the Montgomery Aztecs (San Diego, CA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 9. Hilltop will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Aztecs come into the match with a 1-1 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Sweetwater (National City, CA).
