Solon Comets (Solon, OH) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Nordonia Knights (Macedonia, OH), 4-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Solon improves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Comets travel to Western Reserve Academy (Hudson, OH) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league outing on Monday, September 8. The Pioneers go into the outing with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Knights confront the Revere Minutemen (Richfield, OH) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 6. Nordonia will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Minutemen come into the test with a 2-2 record after their 5-1 league win over Aurora (Aurora, OH).
