September 3, 2025: Charlotte, NC 28208 Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Berry Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC), observed Berry's volleyball team top West Mecklenburg by a count of 2-0.
The Cardinals (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Central Cabarrus dropped by A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Hawks now own a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Myers Park for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 4. West Mecklenburg will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Hopewell (Huntersville, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-2.
