The Shakamak Lakers edged the visiting Edgewood Mustangs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league game.

Next up, the Lakers face the White River Valley Wolverines (Switz City, IN) in a outing, on Thursday, September 4. Shakamak will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Wolverines come into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Wood Memorial (Oakland City, IN).
