September 3, 2025: Golden, CO 80401 Lyons Lions (Lyons, CO) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Golden View Classical Academy Sentinels (Golden, CO), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lyons improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Lions host Highland (Ault, CO) to encounter the Huskies in a test on Tuesday, September 23. The Huskies go into the test with a record of 2-1.
The Sentinels now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dawson School for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Golden View Classical Academy will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Stargate School (Thornton, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.
