September 3, 2025: Apex, NC 27539 Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Middle Creek improves its record to 2-4 on the season. The Mustangs host Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC) to meet the Bengals in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 4. The Bengals come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Fuquay - Varina lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Cleveland (Clayton, NC)
Next, the Wolverines meet the Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 4. Wakefield will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Capitals come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Millbrook (Raleigh, NC).
