The Atkins Camels volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Parkland Mustangs to 0 in the Camels non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Camels now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Glenn for a Piedmont Triad 5A/6A outing on Monday, September 8. Atkins will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to High Point Central (High Point, NC). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-10.

The Mustangs (4-5) will now prepare for their game against R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC). The Demons enter the Central Piedmont 7A/8A game with a 6-9 record.
