In Wednesday's league match, the Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI) volleyball squad tipped the host Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Blue Devils battle the Anchor Bay Tars (Fair Haven, MI) in a Macomb Area - Red bout, on Tuesday, September 9. Grosse Pointe South will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Tars come into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 3-2 league loss to Romeo (Romeo, MI).
