In Wednesday's non-league test, the host Knoxville Central Bobcats volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the West Rebels.

With the win, Knoxville Central improves its record to 7-1 on the season. The Bobcats host Powell (Powell, TN) to face the Panthers in a AAA District 3 challenge on Thursday, September 4. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Powell won 3-0 in their recent league test against Halls (Knoxville, TN)

The Rebels now own a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host William Blount for a AAA District 4 test on Thursday, September 4. West will face a Governors squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Knoxville Catholic (Knoxville, TN). The Governors record now stands at 11-1.
