September 3, 2025: Sonora, CA 95370 Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Sonora Wildcats (Sonora, CA) and the visiting Manteca Buffaloes (Manteca, CA), saw Sonora's volleyball squad achieve victory over Manteca by a score of 3-1.
With the win, Sonora improves its record to 9-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Escalon (Escalon, CA) to encounter the Cougars in a Trans Valley League test on Tuesday, September 9. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 4-7. Escalon won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Oakdale (Oakdale, CA)
The Buffaloes now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Patterson for a Valley Oak League challenge on Thursday, September 4. Manteca will meet a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to River Islands (Lathrop, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-3.
