North Carolina High School Volleyball - North Forsyth bounced by Walkertown

September 3, 2025: Winston-Salem, NC 27105

Walkertown Wolfpack (Walkertown, NC) backers were pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host North Forsyth Vikings (Winston-Salem, NC), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Wolfpack (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC). The Buccaneers come into the Mid-State 3A/4A/5A challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Bartlett Yancey beat Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC) in a Piedmont Triad 5A/6A test, on Monday, September 8. North Forsyth will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Grizzlies go into the test with a 7-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC).
