California High School Volleyball - Oakwood edged by University Prep Academy

September 3, 2025: San Jose, CA 95125

University Prep Academy Golden Eagles (San Jose, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball team hold off the visiting Oakwood Hawks (Morgan Hill, CA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Golden Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Aragon (San Mateo, CA). The Dons enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Aragon got by Menlo School (Atherton, CA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Hawks meet the York Falcons (Monterey, CA) in a Pacific Coast - Santa Lucia test, on Thursday, September 4. Oakwood will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Falcons go into the test with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Chartwell (Seaside, CA).
