The Rapid City Central Cobblers volleyball team (Rapid City, SD), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Thunder Basin Bolts (Gillette, WY)

The Bolts (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Natrona County (Casper, WY). The Mustangs enter the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record.

Next, the Cobblers encounter the Brookings Bobcats (Brookings, SD) in a AA District 1 challenge, on Friday, September 10. Rapid City Central will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 3-2 league loss to Watertown (Watertown, SD).
