September 4, 2023: Williamstown, WV 26187 The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Wood County Christian Wildcat (Williamstown, WV) and the visiting Monroe Central Seminoles (Woodsfield, OH), saw Wood County Christian's soccer squad triumph over Monroe Central by a margin of 10-0.
The Wildcat now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Magnolia for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 5. Wood County Christian will meet a Blue Eagles squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV). The Blue Eagles record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, Monroe Central drops to 0-3 on the season. The Seminoles travel to Caldwell (Caldwell, OH) to meet the Redskins in a Ohio Valley (OVAC) test on Tuesday, September 5.
