Kentucky High School Soccer - Knox Central toppled by Corbin
September 4, 2024: Corbin, KY 40701 Corbin Redhounds (Corbin, KY) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Knox Central Panthers (Barbourville, KY), 8-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Corbin advances its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Redhounds host Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY) to clash with the Colonels in a District 49 test on Thursday, September 5. The Colonels come into the test with a record of 1-3. Whitley County won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against McCreary Central (Stearns, KY)
The Panthers now have a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they host Perry County Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. Knox Central will clash with a Commodores team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Morgan County (West Liberty, KY). The Commodores record now stands at 3-2.
