September 4, 2024: Greenwood, SC 29646 The Emerald Vikings were victorious over the visiting Woodruff Wolverines football team by a score of 42-24 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Vikings face the Broome Centurions (Spartanburg, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Emerald will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Centurions enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 38-8 non-league loss to Spartanburg (Spartanburg, SC).
The Wolverines (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodmont (Piedmont, SC). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Woodmont lost by Pendleton (Pendleton, SC), 14-12, in a non-league challenge.
