The Scorpions now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chapin for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 11. Horizon will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 21-13 non-league loss to Eastwood (El Paso, TX). The Huskies record now stands at 0-2.
With the defeat, Mayfield drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM) to play the Bulldawgs in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 21. The Bulldawgs go into the battle with a record of 0-1.
