September 4, 2024: Wilmington, NC 28412 The Ashley Screaming Eagle edged the visiting Carolina Forest Panthers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Screaming Eagle face the West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 5. Ashley will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Trojans go into the game with a 2-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Topsail (Hampstead, NC).
The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Conway (Conway, SC). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Conway nudged South Florence (Florence, SC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
