In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Coal City Coalers soccer squad scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Momence Momence Athletics.

The Coalers (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Herscher (Herscher, IL). The Tigers go into the Illinois Central Eight outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Herscher got by Clifton Central (Clifton, IL), 9-0, in a non-league outing.
