The Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves volleyball squad (Hillsborough, NC), was edged 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Carrboro Jaguars (Carrboro, NC)

With the win, Carrboro improves its record to 8-4 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Southern School of Energy and Sustainability (Durham, NC) to encounter the Spartans in a Northern Lakes Athletic 2A/3A battle on Thursday, September 5. The Spartans go into the battle with a record of 4-4. Southern School of Energy and Sustainability lost 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Northern Durham (Durham, NC)

The Fighting Red Wolves now own a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eastern Alamance for a Central 3A battle on Thursday, September 5. Cedar Ridge will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 5-4.
