September 4, 2024: South Point, OH 45680 The Huntington Highlanders volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host South Point Pointers to 0 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Highlanders now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Cabell Midland for a Mountain State outing on Thursday, September 5. Huntington will play a Knights team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Spring Valley (Huntington, WV). The Knights record now stands at 5-1.
With the loss, South Point drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Pointers travel to Greenup County (Greenup, KY) to play the Musketeers in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 5. The Musketeers come into the outing with a record of 6-0. Greenup County won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Rose Hill Christian (Ashland, KY)
