With the win, James River Midlothian improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Rapids host Thomas Dale (Chester, VA) to face the Knights in a non-league test on Monday, September 8. The Knights go into the test with a record of 0-2.
Next, the Lancers meet the Hermitage Panthers (Richmond, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 1. Manchester will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
