September 4, 2025: Wilson, NY 14172 The Wilson Lakemen overwhelmed the visiting Alden Bulldogs football squad by a margin of 42-6 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Lakemen now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cattaraugus-Little Valley for a Section 6 D test on Friday, September 12. Wilson will meet a Timberwolves squad coming off a 28-12 non-league win over Kennedy (Cheektowaga, NY). The Timberwolves record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Alden falls to 0-1 on the year. The Bulldogs host Medina (Medina, NY) to face the Mustangs in a Section 6 C - North challenge on Friday, September 12. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Medina won 41-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Silver Creek/Forestville Central (Silver Creek, NY)
