New Jersey High School Football - Clayton holds off Mastery
September 4, 2025: Clayton, NJ 08312 The Clayton Clippers (Clayton, NJ) football edged the visiting Mastery Warrior (Camden, NJ), 2-0 in Thursday's league game.
In their next game, the Clippers face the Haddon Township Hawks (Westmont, NJ) in a West Jersey - Royal game, on Friday, September 12. Clayton will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Hawks enter the game with a 0-1 record after their 33-14 league loss to Gateway Regional (Woodbury Heights, NJ).
The Warrior (0-1) will now prepare for their outing against Sterling (Somerdale, NJ). The Silver Knights come into the West Jersey - Royal outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Sterling edged Pitman (Pitman, NJ), 48-13, in a league outing.
