Montrose Red Hawks (Montrose, CO) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Palisade Bulldogs (Palisade, CO), 37-20 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Montrose advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Red Hawks travel to Grand Junction Central (Grand Junction, CO) to play the Warriors in a non-league match on Thursday, September 18. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 0-2.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs confront the Resurrection Christian Cougars (Loveland, CO) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 12. Palisade will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Cougars come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 44-27 non-league win over Canon City (Canon City, CO).
