The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Runge Yellowjackets (Runge, TX) and the visiting Texas Christian Tigers (Houston, TX), witnessed Runge's football squad wallop Texas Christian by a count of 68-18.

The Yellowjackets (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Victoria Gators HomeSchool (Victoria, TX). The Gators enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Victoria Gators HomeSchool was routed by Arlington Heights Christian (Corpus Christi, TX), 40-6, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Tigers confront the Second Baptist University-Model Eagle (Cypress, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 12. Texas Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Eagle enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 42-6 non-league loss to Founders Christian (Spring, TX).
