September 4, 2025: Troy, MI 48085 Athens Red Hawks (Troy, MI) boosters were content Thursday as they observed their football squad nudge the visiting Anchor Bay Tars (Fair Haven, MI), 13-6 in a non-league match.
The Red Hawks (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Oak Park (Oak Park, MI). The Knights come into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Tars play the Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Anchor Bay will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Cougars go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 43-6 non-league win over L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI).
