September 4, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87114 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM), saw Volcano Vista's volleyball squad notch a victory over West Mesa by a score of 2-0.
With the win, Volcano Vista improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Hawks host Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 16. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Los Lunas won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM)
The Mustangs now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Michael's for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. West Mesa will encounter a Horsemen squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM). The Horsemen record now stands at 4-3.
