The Cherokee Trail Cougars flag football team scored 24 points and held the visiting Aurora Central Trojans to 6 in the Cougars non-league victory on Thursday.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 9. Cherokee Trail will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Huskies enter the game with a 3-1 record after their 31-0 non-league win over Eaglecrest (Centennial, CO).

The Trojans (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Horizon (Thornton, CO). The Hawks enter the 5A/4A Northern Colorado game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Horizon was knocked off by Mountain View (Loveland, CO), 12-0, in a non-league outing.
