The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Thornton Trojans (Thornton, CO) and the visiting Kennedy Commanders (Denver, CO), witnessed Thornton's flag football squad wallop Kennedy by a tally of 45-0.

The Trojans (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Skyview (Thornton, CO). The Wolverines go into the 5A/4A Northern Colorado contest with a 0-0 record.

Coming up next, the Commanders confront the Denver West Cowboys (Denver, CO) in a 5A/4A City contest, on Saturday, September 6. Kennedy will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Cowboys enter the contest with a 2-2 record after their 31-0 league loss to Monarch (Louisville, CO).
