September 4, 2025: Martinsburg, WV 25404 Spring Mills Cardinals (Martinsburg, WV) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Moorefield Yellow Jackets (Moorefield, WV), 10-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Spring Mills moves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Charleston Catholic (Charleston, WV) to clash with the Irish in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Irish come into the test with a record of 0-2. Charleston Catholic lost 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Wheeling Central Catholic (Wheeling, WV)
Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the Robert C. Byrd Eagles (Clarksburg, WV) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 13. Moorefield will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
