North Carolina High School Football - Sanderson loses to Broughton
September 4, 2025: Raleigh, NC 27605 Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC), 47-27 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Broughton advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Capitals host Enloe (Raleigh, NC) to confront the Eagles in a match on Thursday, September 18. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 2-1. Enloe won 36-8 in their recent non-league match against Green Level (Cary, NC)
Coming up next, the Spartans confront the Knightdale Knights (Knightdale, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 11. Sanderson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Knights go into the battle with a 0-3 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Panther Creek (Cary, NC).
