Illinois High School Soccer - Lincoln Park knocks off Loyola Academy
September 4, 2025: Wilmette, IL 60091 In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Lincoln Park Lions soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 victory over the Loyola Academy Ramblers.
The Lions (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Chicago Sullivan (Chicago, IL). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Chicago Sullivan edged Senn (Chicago, IL), 1-0, in a non-league test.
The Ramblers now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Providence Catholic for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. Loyola Academy will clash with a Celtics team coming off a 8-1 non-league win over Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL). The Celtics record now stands at 2-1.
