September 4, 2025: Swannanoa, NC 28778 Davidson Day Patriots (Davidson, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Asheville Christian Academy Lions (Swannanoa, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Davidson Day improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Patriots host Forsyth Country Day (Lewisville, NC) to face the Furies in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. The Furies come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
Next, the Lions meet the Carolina Day Wildcats (Asheville, NC) in a challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Asheville Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
