The Wolverines now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Starkville for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 6.
With the loss, Kemper County drops to 0-2 on the year. The Wildcats host Scott Central (Forest, MS) to confront the Rebels in a non-league match on Monday, September 8.
