North Carolina High School Volleyball - John Paul II Catholic tips Holmes
September 4, 2025: Greenville, NC 27858 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the John Paul II Catholic Saints (Greenville, NC) and the visiting Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC), observed John Paul II Catholic's volleyball team hold off Holmes by a tally of 2-1.
The Saints (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Faith Christian (Rocky Mount, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Faith Christian tipped Harrells Christian Academy (Harrells, NC), 2-0, in a league test.
The Aces now own a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Camden County for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. Holmes will encounter a Bruins squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC). The Bruins record now stands at 7-0.
