September 4, 2025: Wilmington, NC 28412 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) and the visiting Hillside Hornets (Durham, NC), saw Ashley's soccer squad prevail over Hillside by a count of 4-0.
The Screaming Eagle (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC). The Hurricanes go into the non-league game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Cape Fear Academy edged Swansboro (Swansboro, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
The Hornets (2-7) will now prepare for their game against Research Triangle (Research Triangle Park, NC). The Raptors come into the non-league game with a 3-1 record.
