September 4, 2025: Florence, KY 41042 In Thursday's non-league bout, the host Boone County Rebels soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Somerset Briar Jumpers.
The Rebels now hold a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Boyle County for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 6. Boone County will play a Rebels squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Danville (Danville, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, Somerset moves to 3-3 on the year. The Briar jumpers travel to Oneida Baptist Institute (Oneida, KY) to play the Mountaineers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 6. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Oneida Baptist Institute lost 4-3 in their recent league bout against North Laurel (London, KY)
